“My biggest advice is to never see music as a competition. Always take the good things out of it.”
What are you planning to do next, right after you finish this interview?
I will make a cup of tea.
What inspired you to make music ?
A lot of things inspire me. My travels, all the amazing places I have the opportunity to go and see. All the emotions I go through everyday and all the music I hear, all of this inspires me a lot.
Your remix of Laughing Buddha is currently rocking the charts and dance floors, any other amazing artists you would love to remix? and why ?
I always loved this track. It’s a great track by a great artist that I admire a lot. It was originally in my “Magic Mirror” compilation, released in 2010. I’m really happy to be able to remix it and see that people are enjoying it.
I admire so many artists that I would like to remix. Tristan, Burn in Noise, Dickster, Cosmosis, Ace Ventura, Logic Bomb, Avalon and many others. They all have a big influence in my music as a producer and also as a dj.
If you were stuck on an island for a month, and all you could take was 3 CD’s and 3 books what would they?
I would bring a usb stick full of movies, music and books. Possible? Just kidding.
The 3 books:
1 – The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka
2 – A Dance with Dragons by George R. R. Martin
3 – Learning to Silence the Mind by Osho
and 3 cd’s:
1 – Bob Marley.
2 – Pink Floyd.
3 – I would make a compilation of my latest favorites Psytrance.
I have heard you are amazing cook, what’s your speciality?
Happy to know someone liked my food. Well i try. I love organic and health food. I do lots of experiments with food. I try always to have a healthy balance in my meals. But my real speciality is to eat.
What advice do you have to new artists and DJs, boy and girls?
I would say that the first thing is total dedication and to believe in yourself. My biggest advice is to never see music as a competition. Always take the good things about it. Try to develop your own identity.
Whats your favorite music making software/plugin/hardware?
I use logic to produce my music. Love it. In terms of Synthesizer, I love the Access Virus. I use it all the time. Virtual Plugins I like a lot Native Instruments stuff, Spectrasonics, Waves etc.
Finish this sentence: “Every producer must learn to use …”
…their creativity in the best way combined with the music making techniques.
Are you a dog or a cat person?
I love all animals. All my childhood I was raised with many cats, but when I had a chance to choose, I got a dog for me. My dog is the happiness of my life.
What are your interests outside of music ?
I’m a person who likes to travel a lot. I read a lot and watch many movies also. Also I really enjoy the good moments when I’m surrounded by my friends and family. I have a special interest in Humanitarian subjects. I think it’s really important that people help each other.
